When dating, always be where he’s at.

If he’s not moving the relationship forward, it’s because he doesn’t want to, and you should not be planning a future that may not exist. You should keep your options open and stay on your own journey until there is a commitment.

Let go of rules based around time.

There is no set amount of time, there’s feeling. Get to know yourself, define what you need, set standards so you will not base progression on a ridiculous timeline. You will know not to get invested if he’s not rising up meeting your needs right now! Stop sitting around waiting on something that may never happen.

Ask yourself. After 2 months you could determine that you want to make things official. Why don’t you think he’s capable of deciding just like you? Why do we extend so much grace to men?
